Decorating

I'm learning that Thanksgiving weekend is mommy and daddy's favorite weekend of the year!  Not only do we have the family over for Thanksgiving dinner, but football is on, there is black-friday shopping and we decorate for the holidays!  What a great weekend!
Mommy was so busy entertaining and cooking on Thanksgiving that she totally forgot about taking any pictures!  I can at least tell you about it...I was really good on Thanksgiving and even took a nap right when dinner was being served so mommy and daddy got to enjoy their meals too!  Yesterday we went to see grandma Christie's side of the family and I was such a little angel there too!  I played quietly on the floor and even enjoyed Spencer hugging me!  I was held and passed around and no cries!  To some, this may not seem like a big deal but mommy and daddy seemed so proud!  Mommy once again forgot her camera :-(

As I mentioned, we decorated the house for the holidays this weekend...mommy wore the bjorn and I really enjoyed being able to see what was going on, touching things and even helping to put a couple ornaments on the tree!  I think I pulled more off the tree than I put on but it made mommy laugh!

Today we went to the mall and visited with Santa!  Mommy and daddy were unsure how I would do but I ended up doing great!  I didn't smile of course but atleast I didn't cry!  I really seemed un-phased by the whole thing and was more interested in the things around me!

I have been so much more content lately and that is with my first tooth coming in!  I don't feel the need to be constantly moving and jumping anymore...I even enjoy sitting on the floor or in daddy's big chair and just playing with my toys!  I try hard to figure things out and love to feel the different textures!

Model

I've been such the model lately!  First, I get my picture taken at daycare and they get me to smile so nicely!  Mommy says that she needs to learn what they did to make me smile so much!  Then, I went to get my picture taken with mommy and daddy for Holiday cards!  Mommy was a little disappointed and didn't even end up using the pictures for the cards!  I've been such a good sport with all these pictures!  Such chubby little cheeks I have!!

Thanksgiving at Daycare

At daycare we celebrated Thanksgiving!  They even had a turkey dinner for us and our families!  They made this cute little hat for me and a card for mommy and daddy with my hand print!  The staff at my daycare are so good to me and always have us doing the coolest things!

Watch Me Grow-7 months old!!

Wow!  I'm 7 whole months today!  I'm getting so big!  I have been a busy little girl.  I love to try to figure things out..I will study and study something to see how it works.  Mommy and daddy think my facial expressions are precious!  I have been smiling and laughing a lot more too!  I'm up to about 16 lbs and am getting my first tooth! I'm finally rolling over and even attempting to get on all fours!  My new obsession is to watch the doggies!  I really like feeling their fur and I'm lucky that they are such good sports about me pulling their ears! The other exciting thing is that I will be spending more time with mommy and daddy starting next month when mommy begins to work part-time!  I'm only going to be at daycare 2 days/week!  I'm liking this whole turning 7 month thing!

Just Playin

Every morning, mommy puts me in my car walker so she can wash my bottles and bowl.  I like to move around the kitchen checking everything out!  I don't quite get the idea of moving forward but I'm real good at going backward and making turns!

Crib Time!

I'm finally using my crib!  I'm now 7 months old and first attempting to sleep in it!  I have had to sleep upright since I was born because I get very congested.  Mommy and daddy were originally told it was because of my reflux but now as time is progressing and it is still there, they are not convinced the two are related.  I have been congested my entire short life except for maybe 1 month.  I'm going to see an ear, nose and throat doctor in a couple weeks to see if we can figure out what is causing my congestion.  For now, since I'm getting too big to be in my swing, mommy and daddy figured they would try the crib.  I really like being able to move around and sleep on my side!  Now if I would only sleep for more than 3-4hrs at a time, I would feel more rested and mommy and daddy would certainly feel more rested!
 

1st Snow Fall

This morning when mommy looked outside, she noticed that it was snowing!  She thought she had a good idea of trying to get our xmas card photo done outside with my doggies.  I did better than the doggies and that is unusual since the doggies always cooperate with photos!  Mommy said they were rebelling since she is always taking pictures of me instead if them!  She isn't sure if we will use any of these photos for the xmas cards this year but she still thought they were cute!

Social Butterfly

I've been a busy girl since I started feeling better.  I started back at daycare on Tuesday and everyone was so excited to see me!  I was glad to be back too..I missed all my little friends! 
Yesterday I went to see grandma Sue and grandpa Vince.  This was a great visit because it was the first time they got to see me smile and babble!  I played on the floor with my toys and didn't mind that they played with me!  I tired myself out and even fell asleep on the way home!  Mommy and daddy were so proud of me!
