Family Outing!

This past weekend, mommy and daddy decided that we needed a little time away to enjoy something fun as a family.  Life has been overly crazy lately so it was nice to get out and run around!  We tried this new place by our house that our neighbors told us about..Just Fun.  There are games, bumper cars and this big jungle gym.  I loved it but did not appreciate all the bigger kids pushing me out of the way!  Jaden slept most of the time so I got to play with mommy and daddy!  My favorite parts were the big slide and the tire swing in the gym area!

Easter Bunny!

Today was a big day for little Jaden!  We went to see the Easter bunny for Jaden's first time!  It was my second and even though I didn't mind last year, I wanted no part of it this year.  I couldn't crawl any further into mommy's arms.  She even tried to gear me up for the visit by talking about it the day before and all morning.  I kept telling her "no big bunny, scared" but she didn't listen!  I didn't cry when we got there but I wouldn't even look at him!  Jaden on the other hand, laughed and giggled at the "big bunny".  Baby Carter and Auntie Nicole went with us and Carter who is only 6 weeks old, did great too!  He seemed to enjoy being cuddled by the big fluffy thing!  As mommy said, "there is always next year" for a picture of me and Jaden!

Nae Nae

Since Nae Nae comes out to visit us almost every Tuesday, mommy decided to take us out to see her today!  She watched Jaden while mommy took me to get fitted for my special ear plugs.  It was so nice out, that we took a walk and went up to the playground to play!  I love the swings and Jaden got to try one for the very first time!  He liked it but didn't seem to get the thrill that I get!

Grandma K was nice enough to take off work to visit and help mommy a day this week!  She even played with me outside!

Jaden: Watch Me Grow-6 months old!!

Jaden shares his half birthday with daddy! Jaden is sooo much more fun now.  He now laughs at me and I can dance with him, help him roll over and even burp him!  I keep telling him to walk but he's not listening to me on that one yet!
Jaden is now a little over 14lbs and growing in strength and personality.  He babbles alot-especially when he is not happy about something!  When he is feeling good, Jaden is a happy, laid-back little guy!  Jaden has had a few accomplishments this month!  He has begun to roll over, he met his new best friend Carter, started to love his jumpers and actually jump in them, has slept a couple nights for "most" of the night, has gone on his first couple walks with the doggies and has started seeing a chiropractor!  Mommy and daddy are hoping that the chiropractor can help with his reflux and tummy issues...only time will tell.

Fun in the Sun!

What a great time in this beautiful weather!  I love being outside so I'm so excited that we have been able to get out and play so much!  Daddy even brought out my playhouse this week!  When I can't get outside, one of my favorite things to do right now is to sit by the front door and watch the wind and rain.  I even bring my dollies to show them!

Visiting Carter!

This week, mommy and Nae Nae took us over to see baby Carter!  I am so excited and kept saying "baby Carter" all morning and then when we get there, I get so shy!  Mommy thinks it is funny how quiet I get especially since I never stop talking and moving when I'm at home!  Auntie Nicole and Mr. Mike even gave me this real cute bear that sings a special prayer!  I really liked taking out Carter's toys and putting my baby doll in his swing.  I made sure not to get too close but Jaden loved his new best friend!  He was laughing and trying to grab Carter's hands!  It was so cute!

Surgery Time

Boy oh boy, this has been an unpleasant couple days but mommy says that I'm a trooper! Since my ears have been so bad, the doctor scheduled my surgery quickly and from the sounds of it, it was a good thing!  I had my adenoids out and tubes put in both my ears.  Mommy kept telling me about it before we left the house but little did I know what I was getting into!  I kept saying "hospital, tubes, ears better" on our way. 
I did so good waiting so patiently for many many hours before surgery and didn't even have food or juice!  My "BB" even got a special sticker so he could go into surgery with me!  I really thought it was neat.  I only got scared right when the nurse took me from daddy's arms to go back and get my anesthetics. 
After surgery was rough for the rest of the day but it helped with mommy and daddy taking turns to sleep with me that night.  The next day I started to feel better-not quite my bubbly self, but much better!  Hopefully it will all be worth it!

Jaden's 1st Attempt at Solids

Jaden has been really eyeing all of our food everytime we eat so mommy knew that he really wanted some!  He hasn’t been able to have any until this point because of his reflux and allergies but seeing that his reflux isn’t getting better, mommy and daddy thought it might be worth a try after his specialist gave the okay.  He loves it so far!  He gobbled the oatmeal right up and was even laughing and smiling the whole time!  Unlike me, he seems like he will be a good eater!

Lexi's last gym class

I first started my gym class in September and mommy thinks it is time to try something new so this past Saturday was my last gym class at Tumblebees!  I like to stay busy and try new things but mommy isn't quite sure if I will sit through an interactive music class so we are gonna try it first next week!  Daddy finally got to join us for a gym class this week!  I love when he comes because he isn't afraid to let me try things like mommy!

I never wanted to try the rings until the last couple classes.  Mommy never let go but daddy just let me swing on my own and I loved it!
