Erie Zoo

This was the 3rd zoo that we have been to this summer but they never get boring!  We love seeing all the different animals and riding the carousels!  The trip didn't start off so good seeing that Jaden and I were both screaming in the car almost the whole way and daddy wasn't feeling good.  Once we got there, Jaden and I really enjoyed ourselves!  My favorite animal at this zoo was probably the penguins!  Jaden seemed to like the kangaroo but I was a little scared of them since they got so close!  We even got to ride a big train that took us through alot of the outside of the zoo!  As the summer comes to an end, mommy said that she is sad that there won't be as much to do but it will be nice to be home a bit more!

 

Fantasy Island Fun!

We had planned on going to Fantasy Island a couple weeks ago but when the weather didn't cooperate, we decided to wait and try this week!  Grandma k & nae nae took off work again to spend time with us!  We are so very lucky to be so loved! 
Although mommy wasn't as impressed with this little adventure as she hoped, it was a good time and a special outing!  Mine and Jaden's favorite ride was the balloons that spin and went high into the air!  My least favorite was the big school bus-mommy seems to think that I should like this ride but I just don't!  Jaden spent lots of time in his stroller and being held which he usually likes but now he definitely likes to be on the go more.  Everytime mommy would put him down on the grass, he would just take off!  He'd much rather be walking than be held! 

Cousin Tyler & Aunt Kimmie!!

Thank goodness I'm recovering from my 2nd round of strep in 3 weeks nicely because we have had another busy week!  Cousin Tyler and Aunt Kimmie are in town for a couple days and now that Tyler and I can do alot more since we are older, we tried out a new place called Leaps N Bounce!  It was fun but the slides were very big and fast which made mommy very nervous!  She took me and Jaden on a couple but Aunt Ashley hung out with me a bunch while mommy had Jaden.  Jaden doesn't like to leave mommy's side :)  Tyler, Jaden and I all liked the big green bounce house since it had a small slide and lots of things to run through.  The other big hit was the train table (especially since I want one for xmas) and the merry-go-round.

After some playtime, we went over to McDonald's for some lunch and to play on the playset there! I really wish Tyler lived closer so we could play all the time!

The next couple days we had lots of time to actually just hang out and play around the house!  It was a very special "Christie" weekend and I loved every minute of it!
