Fall Art Project

We were supposed to go apple picking today but since it was cold and rainy, we decided to have a day "in".  Mommy knows that I love to paint so we decided to make a project out of it.  Today we finger painted pumpkins, brush painted brooms and colored bats for the Halloween season!

Build-A-Bear

What a rainy weekend!  Originally mommy and daddy had lots of pool work that they planned on doing this weekend before daddy leaves again but the weather did not cooperate for that so we decided to have some family time instead!  We went to Build-A-Bear where I was able to pick out the animal that I wanted to stuff!  As much as I talked about a bunny all of yesterday and on the way there, I decided to choose a cat!  Mommy was hoping for something more like a bear, dog or bunny but since it was "my" choice, she and daddy went along with it!  Jaden is a bit young to do his own but he did pick out a little monkey with a flannel shirt!  My kitty cat even purrs!  We love family time!

Jaden: Watch Me Grow!

Wow..12 whole months already! It seems like yesterday when mommy was procrastinating with going to the hospital because she wanted to put me to bed and empty the dishwasher!  An hour later, my little brother was born!
Through the many sleepless nights, doctor appointments, special prescribed formula, suppositories, hour long 4oz feedings, chiropractor visits, neck stretches, surgery and binky obsession...we made it through it all!  Mommy says that we are so proud of Jaden and the little boy that he is becoming!  He is feisty yet has such a cuddly, loving personality!  His smile just melts mommy's heart and can change a bad day into a great day!
Jaden is so very close to walking and will be running with me in no time!  He has his 12 month check up next week so we will know weight and height then but he is transitioning off bottles, tries most foods and now refuses his baby food because he wants to be a big boy and eat with the rest of us!  He loves pasta right now along with yogurt and pudding.  Jaden knows the doggies when we call their names and his favorite is Koda!  He loves to crawl over to Koda and take his ball!  Jaden is a sleeper like his daddy-he gets real cranky when mommy wakes him up for daycare :)
Overall, we have lots to celebrate on this special day!  Mommy and daddy say that they are blessed with 2 beautiful, active and happy children and they couldn't ask for more!

Happy 1st Birthday Little Man!

Jaden is the BIG ONE!!!  We had our big celebration for him a couple weeks ago but wanted to have a little "family" celebration today!  Since his birthday falls on a Wednesday which is always a very busy day, we decided to celebrate the day before!  During the day, he had some fun at Rolly Pollies with mommy, nae nae and me!  He got to eat his favorite meal for dinner and then we had a big cupcake for dessert!  Jaden and me got so dirty from the chocolate that we had to strip down while we cleaned up until we could get a bath!  Lots of fun and now I keep asking about when my birthday is!

 Legos Everywhere!

I have really been into building with legos lately and Jaden loves to throw them around.  Now that he has his own, we have double the amount but that doesn't prevent me from getting mad at Jaden for taking mine!  He also always goes after mine no matter how many are in front of him!

 

Chloe!

 

I try and try to get Chloe to like me but she just always runs and hides!  The other day, mommy tried to get Chloe to sit nice in my lap so I could put her and "love her".  She sat for a second but then ran..it made me laugh!
