Bubbles Bubbles

As I mentioned in  the previous post, we are all about bubbles right now!  The best part is that the dogs can play with bubbles too and it occupies all of us!  Jaden and I blow the bubbles and the dogs go crazy chasing them!  It is a great way to get the dogs exercise!

Family Visits

This weekend was filled with family visits!  Grandpa Vince and grandma Sue came to visit on Friday.  We got to show them all of our outside toys!  Usually we play inside but since it was so nice out, Jaden wanted to jump on the trampoline and I wanted to blow bubbles!  Ever since Chelsea and Spencer brought us bubble guns, that is all Jaden wants to do!  Grandpa and grandma said that they have never seen Jaden happier.  We are all excited about his progress in the last week or two!

Saturday we visited with mommy's uncle and cousin from Chicago.  We haven't seen them in years so it was nice to catch up and visit for a bit! 

Morning Drive

Since mommy and daddy needed to take care of some business in Akron, we decided to make it a fun morning and see what fun things are out that way.  We visited Akron Falls Park which was really neat but it made mommy very nervous.  The pathway is very narrow and there is not much keeping us from falling down the steep cliffs.  The waterfall was beautiful though!

On the way home, we stopped at Monkey See Monkey Do bookstore.  We love our books so a unique store like this is always fun!

Zoo with Mommy

We certainly love our animals and mommy thinks the zoo is a wonderful learning opportunity.  We haven't been there in a few months and I keep asking to go so mommy gave in and took us!  Mommy said that she is impressed by how many improvements are being made there.  We went in through the brand new entrance.  We thought the new landscaping with jumping water fountains was the coolest thing ever!

My favorite animal this trip was the gorilla while Jaden is still fascinated by the sea lion. We saw the alligator that we must have missed other times and even saw the lion up close and personal in the viewing window!  The peacocks were very close to us and even tried to steal my cracker!

Animals Animals!

Today we went to an awesome place where we got to feed animals and see them up close!  It was our first experience at Hidden Valley Animal Adventure and we were very impressed!  We first went into an area where we could actually pet and feed some animals like donkeys, alpaca, bunnies and even a zebra!  We then boarded the trolley for a ride through the country where we saw water buffalo, llamas, ducks, swans, deer, camel and many many more!  Mommy was a bit worried that we would be scared but we did so well and even wanted to try feeding the animals!  I didn't want to leave and it is not very often that I keep asking to stay somewhere!

Trolley Ride

 

 After the trolley ride, we grabbed a bite to eat at the restaurant on the grounds.  It was our first time with a buffet and we loved it!  What a wonderful family Sunday!

 

Playdate

It is always fun to have a chance to play with other little ones our age.  Daddy's cousin brought over Spencer and Chelsea today to go swimming!  We don't get to see each other too much but mommy and Ms. Lori are so much a like that it is like we live parallel lives!  We had some fun in the backyard, pool and even spent alot of time in the basement since it was so windy! 

Team Work

Since Jaden and I are so close in age, we either love each other and are best of friends or we are fighting.  Today was a day that we really really loved each other!  We were helping each other, swimming together, eating freezy pops together and even riding our bikes together!
