Everything Nature and Water!

Today is the start to a long weekend and we love long weekends! We were lucky enough to spend the day with grandma k and mommy!  We started at Reinstein Woods looking for... animals of course!  We love our animals so today we went out searching for birds, bunnies, deer, frogs and turtles.  We weren't very successful in finding much but we did see some ducks, a squirrel, birds and turtles.

I'm taking after mommy and brought my own camera today to take some pictures!

 

Lily Pads

 

 

Then we were off for some lunch!  I love eating at restaurants now and eat way more there than I ever do at home!  If only we could eat out all the time!

Our last stop was the town splash pad.  The water was a bit chilly but since it was so warm outside, it felt good!  Jaden definitely takes after mommy and much prefers to sit on the sidelines watching than to be in the water.  The park has a playground also which is always lots of fun!

New Sleeping Spot

Mommy was reorganizing our playroom and asked if I wanted to play with my tent in my room for a bit.  Little did she know that it would turn into my new bed this week!  It is a tight fit but I'm enjoying it.  Now only if Jaden could sleep in there with me!

Homemade Playdough

Jaden and I both like to be stimulated at almost all times.  If mommy knows that we are going to be home, she tries to think of a new project to do.  This time it was peanut butter playdough!  I really enjoyed rolling it out, making faces on the cuts that I made using cookie cutters.  Jaden enjoyed it for a few minutes before he ended up sitting on the chair instead of playing with us.  Oh Jaden, the terrible twos shouldn't be starting for another month!  It was quite the mess so good thing that both Jaden and I like to help clean!

Play date with Miss O

Mommy and Miss Bekah work together and they feel like they live parallel lives so it is only natural that they have become good friends.  Since they are friends, us kids are friends too and we have playtime together!  It was fun spending some time together especially now that Olivia is running around and getting into trouble right along side Jaden!  I certainly loved being their mommy telling them what they shouldn't be doing!

The Beach

We haven't been to the beach at all this summer so mommy thought that today was a good day for it.  It wasn't that hot so it was empty.  Perfect for us to run around, play in the sand and collect rocks.  The visit didn't start off so great when we got out of the car and mommy accidentally lightly knocked the car next to us.  The lady got out and yelled at mommy.  Besides that, the visit was fun!  Jaden isn't a huge fan of water but by the end, he would walk out into the lake and splashed around!  We collected lots of rocks for Jaden's upcoming birthday gift!  After, we grabbed a bite to eat at a food stand nearby.  Jaden and I ate 1.5 hot dogs each!  I love going out to eat now!

 

Sleep Over

I'm always asking to sleep in Jaden's room with him.  We have tried it a few times but mommy and daddy usually end up separating us since we won't settle.  The other night, we were so tired that we settled right away and were able to sleep together the whole night!  I did get mad at JAden in the morning for waking me up though.   He needs to sleep a bit later!  Mommy says that we both should start sleeping in past 6am!

Great Neighbors

We love our neighborhood and love our neighbors.  They are a blast to talk with, they have given us so many clothes and last weekend,they even gave us a power wheels since their kids are now too old for it!  We absolutely love it!  We are still learning to drive but we love pretending that it is our car.  I buckle Jaden in and my babies just like mommy does when we go places!
