Halloween Festivities

What a crazy busy but fun day!  We started off with some doctor appointments early in the morning but then put on our costumes and visited with nae nae for her birthday!  We have 2 special Halloween birthdays in our family.  Happy Birthday Nae Nae and Tyler!!!

 

Later in the day, we were off to visit grandma and grandpa Christie!

 

 

Jaden was not cooperative for any type of formal pictures today :)

 

 Grandma K then came over to spend some time!  We attempted to beat the bad weather and went trick-n-treating!  It did rain but not too hard before we got back!  The rest of the night, Jaden and I were great helpers in handing out candy!!!

Pumpkin Carving

Tonight we decided to carve our large pumpkin that we picked out last month.  Jaden and I were such good helpers this year!  We helped daddy scoop out the insides and of course, Jaden tried to eat some!  Mommy carved the face and I took those pictures!  We are pretty excited to see it light up on Halloween night!

 

For Real??? A New Family Addition?!?

Is it true?!?  I've been asking for a new baby for months now and it is finally gonna happen!  Mommy and daddy had Jaden and I put on these special shirts over the weekend and told us about a baby in mommy's tummy!  We couldn't wait to tell our family!  I keep asking mommy if I'm hurting the baby and if the baby is crying inside when I lay on mommy.  I can't wait to hold and feed the baby!  I already want to get out all the baby toys again too!  Life will be crazy, chaotic and filled with so much love and joy!

Remembering Emery

Today we went to a memory walk for Emery.  I colored, cut and glued some pictures to put by her memory flag in the park!  I was so proud and mommy was too!  Emery and I would have been the same age but I understand that she is up in Heaven with Patch, Murphy, great grandma-jean, great grandma mae and my great grandpas.  She likes to play with balloons so that is why balloons were released at the park but we also release balloons up to her each year in April.

Fire Prevention

We usually go to the local firehouse with our daycare but this year they went on one of our days off.  Jaden loves fire trucks so we decided to find another one to go to.  Today was a perfect day for it!  We got to sit in and check out all sorts of fire trucks and equipment.  We even went for a ride in the truck!  They even had a bounce house there!  Mommy had us dressed too warm for this nice weather but otherwise we had a great time learning about fire prevention!

 

Fabulous Weather

It has been gorgeous out and we LOVE getting outside!  Jaden and I are not huge fans of the "standard" walk anymore but we certainly like to act as if we are the adults!  We take turns doing everything that mommy and daddy normally does!  The dogs do not appreciate this since they haven't been out for as many walks but mommy and daddy certainly try to get them out!

Letchworth State Park

Mommy thought it was supposed to be a nice day today and she was a bit surprised when she woke up to rain.   We decided to take our little trip anyway and we are glad that we did!  It only sprinkled a short bit but otherwise was a perfect fall day to look for leaves and take a little hike!  It was beautiful at the park and especially with all the colors on the trees!

 

 We collected leaves so we can work on a few art projects tomorrow!  I kept asking about the art project on the way home.  I love doing art projects-just another trait of mommy's that I picked up!

Leaf Art Project!

 

As you all know, I love my art projects.  When we were out at the park, we collected leaves so we could make some neat stuff.  This morning, mommy and I worked on a few projects.  Jaden started out with us but only lasted a short bit.  Art is not his specialty...he much prefers to be out running!
