Avery is Crawling!!

Yay!  Our little princess is growing up so quick!  Avery is now officially crawling!  She has been so close for over a month but just this week she decided that it would be fun to take off.  Now Jaden and I need to be extra careful of toys laying around, doors being closed and the gate being closed by the stairs.  We are not used to all this yet so mommy and daddy are always on their toes watching out for Avery.  She loves her new independence!

Disney on Ice

Jaden and I got a special treat today.  Nae nae and grandma K took us to see Disney on Ice!  We had so much fun and haven't stopped talking about it since!  We have even been putting on "shows" since we got home and have practiced our "twirling" since that is what the characters did.  Jaden especially liked all the fire and lights.  His favorite was Mickey and Minnie.  I really liked the princesses and how they were able to skate so well!  Thanks Nae nae and grandma for an awesome day!

 

 

 

Mommy Outings

Us kids must be getting a little easier because mommy has ventured out with all three of us a couple times now to places other than a store!  Our first playtime was to one of our favorite places, Rolly Pollies.

Our next outing was to Explore-n-More in East Aurora.  Avery makes it easy because she is so good.  She is typically a happy little girl just sitting in her stroller watching all the commotion around her.  Jaden and I really enjoyed getting out and running around.  Our favorite area this time was the garden area and the new dairy area.  You can milk a cow and we were very intrigued with this!  We didn't even visit our old favorite area which is the kitchen and doll area.

Lexi Time

It is not often that I have time with just mommy or just daddy.  Today, it was great...I had off from school and mommy and daddy were off from work but Jaden and Avery still went to daycare.  Mommy let me pick things that I wanted to do so we did everything from bake cookies, paint my nails and lay together on the couch-we NEVER get to do that kind of stuff!  I had a blast and was such a perfect angel today!

Family Band

Jaden loves music.  We are not sure where his love of music came from but there aren't many things that he would prefer to do other than something related to music.  He knows all the words to "the Wiggles" songs, he knows the dances to perfection and adores playing the guitar.  He only wanted a guitar for Christmas since he used to pretend to use a foam sword as a guitar.  Well, Santa not only brought a guitar but he also brought a drum set and microphone!  Avery even gets into the mix.  When music is playing, Avery shuffles and dances. Mommy and daddy think it is adorable.  The other night, we decided to pretend that we were a band and put on a little show for mommy who was taping it all!

 

 

Mommy's new camera

Mommy has wanted a good, solid camera for a very long time.  She takes many many many photos but each year we have put it off and just bought another simple, cheap camera.  This was the time...daddy said that she has earned it over the last 8 months and mommy was beyond excited!  With getting a new, complicated camera, she needs lots of practice figuring it out....hence the montage of random photos.
