Nae nae's Big Night!

Our nae nae is one special person.  Not only is she an awesome aunt that treats us kids as her own but she is also very successful!  We are so proud of all that she has been able to accomplish at such a young age!  Last night she was inducted as the President of NYS Women Inc.  Mommy learned so much about the organization last night from all the wonderful people that attended the event.  Jaden and I are super impressed by how many "friends" that came to celebrate with nae nae.  She is now a President of 2 community organizations and the owner of her own business!  Congratulations nae nae!!

Memorial Day Weekend Festivities

We have been busy with lots of house work both at our own and others.  Today we had some play time too!  We started the day by letting our butterflies go.  We watched the caterpillars grow into butterflies over the last month and today was the day to let them go.  I thought it was so neat and loved that the one wanted to stay with us!  The other 3 flew away once they realized the net was open!  Jaden wasn't so sure about touching them but he enjoyed watching from a distance.

 

 

 Jaden was asking to take pictures with the dogs so mommy thought it was a good day to do it since we all had our "flag" shirts on. 

 

Mommy and daddy went out to eat later in the day to celebrate their anniversary.  Once they came home, we made a fire in the back yard with nae nae and grandma k.  I really love toasting marshmallows.  I was making some for everyone!

Playing Catch Up

It is time to play catch up with all the stuff we have been doing and working on the last week or so.

Avery has been loving having a swing on the playset.  This swing was before she got a new one for her birthday.  I love pushing Avery.  I really am such a good big sister.  I take great care of my little sister.

Avery's food choices have been expanding.  This was her first time with spaghetti.  She doesn't look happy in the picture but she really does love it!  She gets so messy but mommy says that it doesn't matter as long as a good amount gets into her belly!

 Mommy took all 3 of us kids to Explore and More last week.  It was fun because Avery was able to crawl around and explore everything this time.  Last time we were there, she sat in the stroller the whole time.  She loves to climb so the baby section with all the mats was a great fit for her!

 Avery is getting to be such a big girl.  A few weeks ago, she started taking a bath in the big tub just like Jaden and I!  This past weekend, we didn't have hot water at the house for 4 days so each day, we went to grandma's to take baths.  To save time, all 3 of us went in together.  Avery loved all the attention!

 Avery is a dare devil and loves moving.  Mommy took her for a spin on Jaden's 4 wheeler.  She was all smiles!

Mommy has also been working hard on staining our playset.  This was a huge project and it took many many hours to complete.  She says that she doesn't plan to do that again any time soon.

This past week, mommy thought we needed to burn some energy and since it was so chilly outside, she took us to Just Fun.  This place has a huge indoor play gym that we love crawling in, running through and climbing on.  Avery couldn't go all the way up but she enjoyed the bottom area.

While mommy worked on the playset one of the days, grandma K took Jaden and I to nae nae's to help plant a garden.  We are very good helpers!  Jaden was fascinated by the frog we found!

One Year Photos

Mommy thought it would be a good idea to try to get some updated, nice photos of Avery since she turned one year old.  Avery has her own little mind and personality and likes to do things on her terms.  Taking photos is not in her list of things that she enjoys so this is always a challenge!
