The Christie Clan Chronicles:: Our 1st Family Vacation!!!

A couple months ago, mommy was researching places to go with daddy for a little get-a-way but instead, found a place for us to go to for our first family vacation!!!! Mommy and daddy were a bit hesitant with the idea of taking us in the car for 6-7hrs, especially since we aren't the best car travelers. Mommy did her research and we ended up being really good with the exception of a couple hours! Mommy and daddy said that we did so well that they look forward to planning a trip for next year!
We traveled to Sesame Place near Philadelphia, PA. It is an amusement park for little tikes like me and Jaden! We planned on June since mommy thought the weather wouldn't be as hot but boy was she wrong. We had so much fun going in the water, going on rides and seeing lots of new things! It was our first time traveling in the car for this amount of time, trying rides, water slides, riding a horse, staying in a hotel (Jaden's 1st time away from home) and even climbing all the new adventures that were in the park! Mommy said that I totally amazed her! I wasn't afraid of anything and Jaden did so well just sittng back and watching! It was around 100 each day with bright sun yet we were troopers and enjoyed our special time together!

Before we started toward home, we stopped at the Philadelphia Zoo! It was much bigger than the one we go to here in Buffalo! There were swan boats and a horse that I rode with daddy! It even has it's own Children's Zoo where there are lots of animals that are my size! Jaden got to take his first ride-the merry go round. Daddy doesn't do so well with rides that spin but even he joined us so we could take one ride as a family!
