Special 1:1 Time

Since daddy was gone all week, grandma k invited Jaden and I over for a sleep over.  Jaden ended up going back home but I stayed and had lots of fun with grandma. 

She took me to canalside in the city the next day.  I made crafts, saw boats, ate lunch and enjoyed all the attention that she gave just me!!!

Back at home, mommy spent time with Avery and Jaden.  Avery decided that she would finally give the swing a chance!  She has now slept in it two times for naps!

Jaden, Avery and mommy took a walk and made a stop at the park.  Jaden was quiet all morning but he loves his "mommy time" so he was having a blast with being goofy for mommy's pictures.

 

 Avery took a short nap in the stroller while Jaden was swinging.

 

 She is a cat-napper though and only sleeps for 30 minutes at a time!

 

 

 Not even an hour later, Jaden asked to go up to his room to lay down.  Mommy knew that something was wrong.  He ended up sleeping over 3 hours and woke up with a temperature.  The day was downhill from there for him.  Hopefully he feels better soon!  I was an extra good helper when I got home.  I made sure he had drinks, his blankie and a change of clothes.

 

 Meanwhile, Avery tried out the jumper since she insists on sitting and standing.  She was in her glory.  She needs to grow a bit more to really use it but she liked standing and watching everything!

 

We are happy to have daddy back home now and mommy was thrilled to hand over some duties to him :-)
