Christmas is finally here!

 

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day were very exciting for us this year especially since Jaden and I couldn't wait for Santa to come. It was also Avery's first Christmas! 

We started Christmas eve off celebrating with grandma and grandpa Christie. Daddy's family came over later for dinner and we got to celebrate together!  It is always fun to see everyone!

When we got home, we put out carrots and cookies for Santa and his reindeer. Jaden and I fell asleep super quick after a busy day. 

Jaden and I were so excited to see what Santa brought Christmas morning! Mommy thought it was so neat to see our expressions and our excitement!  She said that Christmas time is special due to those special little moments!

This was the first year that we had Christmas day at our house! It was so much easier not having to lug anything for everyone. Grandma K and Nae nae still did a lot of the cooking too! We had such a fun day opening presents, spending time, and eating good food!

 

 

 

Jaden's favorite gift this year is probably his guitar.  He's wanted a guitar for months! My favorite gift is my doll booster seat for the car.  I also got a booster seat so now my doll seat can sit right next to me in the van!  Avery also got several neat toys. Mommy and daddy were most excited that she got diapers and bottles and bibs!

It was another great holiday season with special memories and good times! We thank everyone who helped us make this time of year special and memorable. Happy holidays from our family to yours! Now it will be time to move onto the new year, fresh start, new goals, and new memories!
