Today Avery is 7 months old and we celebrated by going to the doctors. She has not been herself lately and mommy and daddy cant figure out why. She has been fussy...so fussy that even mommy has been frustrated. Mommy almost never gets frustrated with Avery! The doctors seem to think teething but mommy isn't sold on that and feels that there is more to it. It is never that easy with Avery, Jaden and I. Mommy keeps thinking that it is related to issues with food allergies.
Anyway, other than this, Avery is doing great! She weighs 15lbs and loves her independence. She sits all by herself and is transitioning to her crib. She still needs to be upright so her crib has a pillow under the mattress. This is quite a transition in the world of infant reflux! She is also starting to lift her body into the crawling position...hopefully by next month!
Mommy has started making some foods for Avery and she hopes to start feeding her more of what she is eating except puree it. This will hopefully make things easier and control the food allergies more! Avery is liking strawberries with bananas at the moment! The next step will be to add some basic meats!
Avery is growing before our eyes. She develops a new skill and changes each day. Jaden and I adore her and love to make her laugh! Her favorite game right now is peek-a-boo!
