Watch Me Grow: Avery 8 Months Old

Our little princess is 8 months old today!  She is very close to crawling, even takes one motion but hasn't taken off yet.  Any moment now!  Avery has been enjoying her oatmeal and has even added 2 extra meals to her schedule since last month.  Mommy has decided to make most meals for Avery from scratch since she has more control over the allergy issue by doing this.  This opens so many more options for Avery like veggie and meat mixtures!  Avery loves her food and mommy gets excited to see her happiness!

Avery has also started to use a sippy for a little juice, special puffs and even special teething biscuits this month!  She is loving all this independence!  Her favorite toy right now is anything that she can get into her mouth!  She is beginning to transition into a car seat rather than her infant carrier.  She sleeps in her crib for naps and even has begun to take less naps.  Mommy says that Avery just doesn't like to sleep because she is a busy body and doesn't want to miss anything.  A huge change this month is the fact that Avery is sleeping better at night.  She will now sleep 5-6 hours which is like heaven to mommy and daddy.  We are all hoping that this continues!  Avery is our special little princess that we all adore.  She makes everyone around her smile!
