Watch Me Grow: Avery 10 months

This month we feel like we are almost "there" on so many levels!  We have almost survived the first year with having 3 kids, mommy has survived almost a year of breastfeeding and her crazy limited diet, Avery is almost walking, eating "real" food and even weaning off her reflux medication!  A lot has happened this past month; some good and some not so good.  This month has been rough as far as sickness and this forever lasting winter.  It is hard to get out to do much of anything because of the snow and cold but then in turn, we are constantly sick so if we have a chance to get out, plans have been cancelled a lot.  Avery also had her surgery this month to put tubes in her ears.  The procedure itself went great but Avery and mommy got very sick after.
Avery continues to develop such a little personality.  She makes sure that Maggie knows that she doesn't appreciate the kisses on the face, she pushes things away and waves her hand telling us that she is all done eating, she thinks it is a game to throw her sippy, bottle and binky, and she prefers to pull up and stand over anything else.  She loves walking with mommy holding her hands.  She giggles more than ever and even tries to play peek-a-boo with Jaden and I.  She gets mad if Jaden and I take something from her.
This month, Avery has started to hold her own bottle, drinks regularly from a sippy and is preferring bite sized food pieces over any pureed food.  She has crawling mastered and is now working on walking.  She can easily pull herself up on almost everything.  She is attached to her CeCe (lovey) but hasn't taken to any blanket like Jaden and I did.  Unfortunately, she is still working on not wanting to eat during the night.  Mommy and daddy really look forward to her sleeping a bit better but overall she is doing awesome!  Each day becomes a bit easier and watching Avery grow into a little girl is a wonderful experience!

Avery wanted no part of sitting next to her doggie for the picture this month.  As soon as mommy would place her, she was off to the races and interested in something other than looking at mommy for a picture!  Happy 10 months Princess!
