Catching Up

Since the weather has been nice, it seems like we have even less time.  It is wonderful to be able to get out, run around and just play.  We certainly get outside as much as possible!

Even though we have our own playset, we still love going up to the park.

This weekend, mommy stopped breastfeeding so her, Avery and daddy went to celebrate with a mudslide while Jaden and I slept over nae nae's house.  This has been a big deal for mommy since she couldn't eat dairy, soy, egg or lactose for 1 year.  She says that her taste buds have changed too because the foods that she thought she missed most aren't such a craving anymore!  Now we hope that Avery continues to do well with transitioning over to all almond milk.

We love playing at nae nae's.  She has all sorts of stuff for us to do!  She let us sleep over and even took us to the zoo the next day with grandma k!

While Jaden and I were gone, mommy and daddy have also been working on organizing the garage.  It drives mommy crazy when things are messy and with having 3 kids, we have lots of stuff!  It is still a work in progress but they got pretty far while we were gone.

Avery is doing so well and grows each day.  This weekend, daddy was working so mommy needed to get the grass cut.  Avery sat in the stroller with a snack and sippy just watching.  Mommy was so impressed and said that Jaden and I never would have done that!  After, Avery played on the little power wheels.  She enjoys everything that moves!

To hold tradition, we gave one of Avery's birthday presents to her early.  Mommy really wanted something where she could take all 3 of us on a walk.  I like to ride my bike but not for as long of a walk that mommy and daddy like to take so we needed something that all of us could ride in at one time.  Avery loves it and so do we!  We find it so neat that each of us have our own space!  This was also mommy's first time having ice-cream in 1.5yrs!

Since nae nae has colored sand, we kept asking mommy and daddy for some in our own sandbox.  Mommy found some today so we helped to put it in and Avery even tried it out!

We finally brought out the water table that we got for Christmas too!  Mommy said that it was so nice to see all 3 of us playing together.

This is our Bandit man.  He will be 13yrs old in August.  He has been staying at nae nae's because he really doesn't like all the noise in our house.  Before he left, he was hiding in the basement behind the washer and dryer most of the day.  In the last couple weeks, he has developed a growth on his chin and in his mouth.  After 2 rounds of antibiotics and several vet visits, it is looking like he may have a tumor.  We are all watching him closely and are saddened by the possible grim outlook.  He is a very special dog to mommy.  He was her first pet and he went everywhere with her.  Since he came into mommy's life, the rest of us have joined...daddy, 3 other dogs and 3 kids.  He has adjusted to it all and always follows mommy everywhere she goes.  We are hoping for the best.  We love our little Bandit man.
