Happy Halloween!

Mommy was totally not going to dress me up this year because she didn't think I would cooperate!  When she found out that I had a costume day and party at daycare, she didn't want me to feel left out so daddy found a great deal on a costume!  Ironically, it was the exact costume that mommy originally thought about getting me!  Since I ended up missing my daycare dress up day and party because I was sick, they dressed me up this weekend for family when I was feeling better.  I actually didn't seem to mind the costume as long as mommy didn't put the tights on me!  Hopefully next year, I can participate in more of the activities for this crazy holiday!

Happy Halloween Birthday to Aunt Nae & My Cousin Tyler!

I ended up missing my cousin Tyler's birthday party last weekend but daddy went and took some good pictures of the birthday boy!  Happy 1st birthday Tyler!!! I helped pick out his gift so I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of him with it!!

  

I celebrated Aunt Nae's birthday yesterday! It was ironic that some of her gifts end up benefiting me! Now she gets to go celebrate in Vegas this week! Let's hope she doesn't get sick since she was with me quite a bit this past week! By the way..thanks for taking such great care of me!

Sicky

I have been one sick little girl this week!  I started with a fever last weekend and ended up having strep by Monday.  I gave mommy and daddy quite the scare...I had a fever, refused to eat, cried so much that I lost my voice and wouldn't sleep.  Mommy ended up feeding me by a syringe every hour for a couple days.  She only got maybe 1/2oz in me at a time but that was better than nothing!   I couldn't go to daycare all week so I got lots of time with mommy, daddy, Grandma K and Aunt Nae.  I even missed my Halloween party, my Halloween dress-up day and mommy missed going to Albany (although she didn't seem too upset about that)!  I'm finally feeling better today and can hopefully go see my friends at daycare on Tuesday!  This week was not fun for anyone! 

Sock Monkey

I really like my new sock monkey!  Thanks Aunt Heather for this cool gift! I like to hug him but I really enjoy trying to eat his arm!  At this point, anything I can get my hands on goes right to the mouth!  Everyone keeps thinking that I'm teething but no teeth seem to make an appearance!

Playmates

Last weekend, I met more people from daddy's side of the family!  We had a little get together at Grandma and Grandpa Christie's house!  I spent alot of the time playing on the floor with Chelsea and Spencer and I really enjoyed showing them my toys!  Mommy had to help me sit but within the last week, I'm really beginning to sit on my own!  I'm becoming such a big girl now!

Watch Me Grow-6 months old!!

I know I say this every month...but..can you believe that I'm 6 months already????  I'm a whole 1/2 year old!  Mommy keeps saying that time goes by so quickly and daddy can't believe how tall I'm getting!  I go for my 6 month visit this week but they are guessing that I'm pushing 16 lbs and 25 inches tall.  I will also get more shots this week but ironically, I don't seem to mind stuff like that!  I cry a lot over almost everything else but when it comes to pain...I'm a tough little girl!  Mommy and daddy think that they have their hands full and that I'm a little drama queen!  Grandma C thinks it is funny since mommy was a lot like me when she was little!  Sometimes I give fake cries when people aren't paying attention to me and as soon as someone comes over to me, I'm all smiles.  I'm advancing in all areas and continue to prefer to be on my feet over anything else!  My legs are very strong so maybe I'll be a soccer player like mommy and daddy!

Mommy & Daddy

Every Saturday morning daddy gets up early with me so mommy can workout without having to entertain me or get up super early before I wake up.  I really enjoy my special time with daddy so its a win win for everyone!  Today he played with me and my new toy that they got me for my 6 month birthday!  My big cousin Tyler had this toy and I really seemed to like it!

Today mommy and daddy were brave and took me out to the mall.  They don't take me too many places because I tend to cry so much but they are hoping that now that I'm 6 months old, I will be a little better!  I made them proud today and squealed with delight at the mall rather than scream!  I really enjoyed all the people and commotion around me!  Lots of people stopped to tell me how cute I am so that made me happy too! Who doesn't like compliments?!?  Overall, I had a great day!  Now mommy says that I need to work on my nights and sleeping through the night so she isn't so tired and cranky all the time :-)

Family Time

We have had such busy weekends that it is nice to have a day with me, mommy and daddy!  Daycare was open today but since mommy and daddy have off, they let me skip and stay home with them!  We didn't do much of anything all day and I loved it! 

Pumpkins!

Now that it is October, mommy thought she would have fun with me and take my picture with the pumpkins that daddy picked out!  Next year we will hopefully go to the pumpkin patch and I can pick my own!  I actually enjoyed taking these pictures because I like to be outside (I just hate taking walks!).  I loved the wind blowing the little hair that I have!

Bits and Pieces

I know I have lots of pictures with daddy but I do love my mommy too!  She keeps saying that she is just always the one behind the camera capturing the special moments!  Daddy is always goofing around and rough-housing with me..this is what I love most! 

 

This week I stayed home sick one of the days so Aunt Nae came over to watch me for the day..that was so very nice of her!  She gave me this Halloween onesie so I wore it today even though it is not quite Halloween yet!  Mommy wanted to get a picture of me with it with my pumpkin but it has been too crappy outside for me to be out especially since I'm still not feeling quite right.

Mommy is always trying to make me happy and smiley so if there is anything that she thinks I will enjoy, she buys it for me!  She should really get out of this habit before I catch on!  I really like this jumper she found me!  I pretty much love anything where I can be on my feet and moving!

My doggies have been very needy lately..more so now because they haven't been able to get out for any walks.  Now that mommy is back working full-time, she keeps saying that it is harder and harder to have time for anything but taking care of me!  They had this bone that they all wanted the other night and Koda kept stealing it from the others.  Instead of fighting back, the rest huddled around him and just watched him chew it!
