Fun with Jaden!

We aren't home alot so it is rare that we get to spend the day just hanging out and playing with all the toys we have! 

Jaden: Watch Me Grow-7 months old!!

While I just turned 24 months, Jaden turned 7 months this week!  His biggest accomplishment this month is sleeping more!  He now typically sleeps most of the night til 4:30am when he gets his medicine.  He then goes back to sleep for a bit!  Mommy and daddy are real happy about this!  He still hasn't made it to his crib yet but mommy and daddy are trying the crib for short intervals like for naps!  He continues to sit on his own, which he loves!  No teeth yet but his gums are sure looking white in the front!  He had started oatmeal last month but it turns out that not only does he have a dairy and soy intolerance, it now appears that we can add wheat to that list.  This is not good news.  Mommy and daddy thought they had it rough with my diet...now it will be even more difficult for Jaden!
Jaden's favorite thing to do this month is to sit and play with toys on the floor.    He also loves jumping now!  He seems to take a special liking to Koda and being able to pet him!  He thinks I'm hilarious and typically likes when I try to play with him!  We are excited for the warmer months coming and being able to get outside!

My 2nd Birthday!!

What a great weekend!  Today we had our family over to celebrate my birthday!  We started off the day by mommy and daddy giving me my dollhouse.  Mommy and I then went on a bike ride with my new bike seat!  After my nap, everyone came over to eat cake and ice cream with me!!

Thank you to all my special family for coming and celebrating my special day with me!!!  I love all my gifts and I'm so very thankful!!!

Watch Me Grow-2 years old!!

2 years ago, I was quite the surprise arriving 4 weeks early but today I turned 2 whole years old!  I have learned so many things and keep mommy and daddy on their toes every minute!  I've never sat still since day one but lately I do enjoy sitting and looking at my books.  I love books!  Mommy and daddy take turns reading to me every night before bed!
I know so many words that mommy can't keep track.  I say short sentences, sing simple songs and repeat everything!  I've taken gymnastic classes, swimming classes and tried music class.  I sleep in my big girl bed and even use the potty quite a bit.  I still take naps although I think I could do without but mommy makes me.  I even became a big sister in my short 2 years!  I love helping mommy do house chores and sitting on the counter watching her wash dishes.  My favorite food right now are my smoothies and chicken nuggets,  I'm still a very picky eater and won't eat almost all meat.  I still hate the car but I have gotten a little better with the screaming.  My main interests right now are Mickey Mouse, Elmo and trains.  I also love puzzles!  Mommy and daddy tell me all the time how proud they are of me!

My Special Birthday Celebration

Mommy and daddy thought it would be neat to do something special for my birthday this year with just me! I got to spend the whole day with just mommy and daddy! Jaden stayed with grandma K but I was very concerned about that and kept asking why he wasn't coming with us! We went to the Strong Museum of Play in Rochester. It was a long drive for me since I hate the car but we all survived the screaming for 45 minutes! Once I got there, I was a very good girl. I was so amazed and just soaked everything in!
My favorite part was the train but my least favorite part was when Elmo and Cookie Monster were in a car. Mommy wanted me to sit in the car with them but I said "no way"!  We even got lunch that I actually ate along with a milk shake!  It was a very fun day!
