The Ipad

Little did mommy know that when daddy bought her an ipad for Christmas, that she would be buying more apps for me rather than for herself!  I love it!  I know where mommy keeps it, can find what programs I want (usually "abc or happy n u know it") as how I say it, and even know to swipe my finger across the page to move to the next thing!  Mommy and daddy tell me that I'm a smart little cookie!

As you know, one of my favorite evening things to do is to sit with daddy and eat a popsicle. Daddy let Jaden lick a little and he loved it so now he likes to get in on the action too!  I'm not sure how I feel about sharing my daddy but usually I'm a good sport!

 

Elmo Show!

Mommy and daddy decided to be brave and try taking us to see Elmo and friends at Sheas this past weekend!  Since I never sit still, they were very hesitant but decided to try.  I was such a good girl!  I behaved and sat the whole time!  Jaden fell asleep half way through but he was a good boy too!

Mommy/Daddy & Me Day!

Since Monday was a holiday for mommy and daddy, they decided to make it a special "Lexi" day!  Jaden went to daycare while I went with mommy and daddy to breakfast, a really neat interactive bookstore and we even went for a walk with the doggies!  It was a ton of fun and really enjoyed all the special attention! 

When Jaden got home, I was sure to give him a little attention too so he didn't feel left out :-)

Jaden's New Best Friend!!

We have been waiting for this day for a long time!  Jaden now has a new best friend and I have two little boys to boss around!  Auntie Nicole and Mr. Mike welcomed Carter Michael to the world on
2-13-12 at 6:38pm!  It's going to be so much fun to have him around!  Auntie Nicole and Mr. Mike spoil me and Jaden so Carter is one lucky little boy!!!

Jaden: Watch Me Grow-5 months old!!

Can you believe little Jaden is already 5 whole months?  Each day his personality is showing more and more.  In so many ways, he is very much like daddy!  They like to watch tv together, he takes things in stride and doesn't mind his schedule being changed around.  This is complete opposite from me and mommy!  He is also not a huge fan of being on the go or jumping like I was at his age.  He is even tall enough to use the walker which he seems to enjoy! 
He smiles and giggles all the time, especially when people kiss his cheeks, tickle his tummy and make silly faces at him!  He can finally take the binky and suck on it but after trying for so long to get him to do this, now mommy thinks he is too dependent on it!  Jaden is also now aware of the doggies.  He tries to pull their ears and giggles when Koda looks at him.  He does not appreciate when Koda licks his face though-he often cries for mommy to pick him up! 
Jaden's biggest downfall from being a perfect little boy is his sleeping habits.  He continues to battle with his reflux so mommy is taking him back to the specialist in a couple weeks.  We are all hoping that he will outgrow this soon because he even keeps me up at night!  I tell mommy in the morning "baby, cry".  Mommy laughs and says "yes he does".

My Big Girl Room

I'm getting closer and closer to turning 2 years old and mommy says that she never expected me to be doing half the stuff that I am!  Moving to a big girl bed is definitely one of those things!  She thought for sure that since I'm such a peanut, that I would still be in a crib but like almost everything, I proved her wrong!  I'm little miss independent and have a mind of my own!  I'm doing great with my bed and love having the space for my dolls and books!  Mommy and daddy say that I get lost in the bed with all the other stuff!

Happy Valentine's Day!

My 1st Swim Class

I really like the water and since mommy dislikes swimming, aunt Nae said that she would enjoy taking me to swim class!  They weren't sure if I would like the cold water since school pool water is alot different than bath water!  I ended up enjoying myself!  We did a little back and tummy time in the water along with kicking.  The other kids jumped in but I wasn't quite there-maybe next time!

Little Bit of This Little Bit of That

This week has been a bit rough for my brother and I since we are both sick.  I have my 3rd ear infection in 4 months so it is looking more and more like I will need tubes.  Mommy said that she had tubes in her ears when she was little too.  Jaden has been sick for a while but this week he got real bad so off to the doctors we go.  Since we are both sick, we have been inside and at home alot.  Below are random pictures from the week:
