Avery's First Week

Avery is already a week old!  It is so fun now that Avery is here with us rather than inside mommy's belly.  We can't wait to have mommy be able to run around with us again.  We really miss "playing" with mommy.  I keep asking mommy if Avery is still in her belly since "it is still big" but mommy said that it is a good thing that I'm around since I will be her motivation to lose the weight she put on!

Mommy is skeptic to say this but she said that Avery "is a content, easy going baby so far".  Jaden and I were very difficult as infants so mommy and daddy seem to think that Avery is a breeze right now.  She cries when she wants something and that is usually to eat.  She can actually be put down and she just watches things around her.  She barely even cries getting her diaper changed!  Mommy and daddy are being very proactive in trying to prevent some of the same issues that Jaden and I had so mommy has eliminated dairy from her diet and we treat Avery as if she already has reflux.  There are some signs of reflux but she doesn't scream like we always did....YET!  We are all hoping for the best!
