Summer Friday Fun

Yesterday was a very busy day.  First, we started out at canalside.  Since the lines were so long last weekend and we didn't get to do what we went there for, mommy felt bad so we left early to get there right when they opened yesterday.  Nae nae met us there and joined us for the fun.

We started with the pedal boats.  Avery was not a fan of the life jacket.  She does not like to be confined and this jacket really irritated her right from the moment we put it on her!  I got bored of the boat but ironically, Jaden loved it!

Next we made some crafts at the Explore and More Family Friday events.  We both made kites and a painting using a straw.  Avery was not impressed with the crafts but did enjoy the water tables they had set up there for little kids her size.

Next up was the bike ferry.  We took this across the water to the lighthouse.  We ventured over in that area for a while before returing back on the ferry.

A few hours after getting home, daddy took Jaden and I to the Sabres scrimmage.  Jaden loves hockey just like daddy so he was super excited.  I wanted to go but more for the food and pop.  Surprising after a day like that and getting home around 10pm, Jaden and I were still filled with energy!
