Avery: Watch Me Grow 2 Months

Avery, our little sweetheart is already 2 months old today!  She gets bigger each day and continues to develop new skills.  Within the last week, she has begun to actually giggle!  It is usually at mommy but it is so neat and cute to watch!  She smiles a lot, loves to eat, prefers to sleep on someone and isn't a fan of napping.  Unlike Jaden and I, Avery naps for 20 minutes at a time but is then back up.  This makes it hard for mommy when she is alone with all 3 of us since it is a lot harder to help Jaden and I when Avery also needs constant attention.

Avery is at least 3 lbs heavier than I was at the same age.  Due to this, a lot of my clothes don't fit Avery.  Mommy was sad about this but loves that Avery is actually on the growth charts!  Avery still eats about every 2-3hrs but is getting better with bottles.  She still prefers mommy nursing her but since Avery will soon be starting daycare, bottles are a must.  Avery can also now take her reflux meds with applesauce which makes everything way easier.  Mommy remains on a soy, dairy and egg free diet to help Avery's tummy but it seems to be working! 

Avery can now sit in the highchair at the dinner table with us and she loves being apart of the commotion.  She much prefers to sit than lay down.  She likes to know what is going on around her at all times! She continues to sleep in mommy and daddy's room in her special "reflux" seat but mommy and daddy love the fact that she goes to bed around the same time as us and doesn't have to be fully asleep!

What a great month filled with so many new beginnings!  Happy 2 months Avery Charlotte!
