Our Little Thumb Sucker

Avery is truly a unique little girl.  Her personality is very different from mine and even from Jaden's so far.  Mommy always tended to treat Jaden and I as twins since we are similar in many ways and are so close in age.  Avery has her own unique style.  She is easy going, content watching things around her and patiently waits for things that she wants.  In the last week she has really taken to her thumb.  She has shown a liking for her thumb since day one but now she goes for the thumb more and more often.  Mommy thinks it is cute and convenient in many ways but the thought of germs grosses mommy out.  She was an avid thumb sucker herself!  Daddy on the other hand strictly thinks about down the road and trying to break the habit.  He says that it is way easier to take away a binky.  Mommy agrees but for now we go with what works and enjoy the cuteness :-)
